Vintage for a Good Cause

At Shermancat 100% of the proceeds from sales go to the Humane Society of York County, USA. The HSYC is a non-profit organization that receives no government funding, and relies completely on donations to help the homeless animals in its care.

Run by volunteers, Shermancat is well stocked with a range of fabulous vintage items. Here are some of my favourite finds:

Above, cute miniature tea set and gorgeous framed mirror.

Wonderfully decorative books great for displaying.

Oh so romantic mirror tray with watch and faux roses included.

  1. Thanks for the info

On Fridays I like to blog about easy ways we can help to make the world a better place, and what better way than shopping where the money goes for good!

  3. Yes! As the proud mom of not only 3 grown boys, all our animals (4 dogs, 1 cat, 1 parrot, 1 cockatiel, 1 rabbit) are RESCUES!! I think this is a WONDERFUL idea, and just might mention the possibilities to our local humane society - I agree with Cassiopeia - why not shop at a place where we know our money is serving a higher purpose? Thanks, Carla!
    Peace,
    Pam
